Terms and Conditions for Parents/Carers

By booking a place with Vara Sports & Education Ltd, parents/carers agree to the following:

1. Accuracy of Information

I confirm that all information provided on the booking form is correct and accurate. I understand it is my responsibility to inform Vara Sports & Education Ltd immediately of any changes, including medical conditions, dietary requirements, or contact details.

2. Belongings

I agree that Vara Sports & Education Ltd cannot be held responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of my child’s belongings. Parents/carers are advised not to send valuable items to sessions.

3. Payments and Refunds

I understand that Vara Sports & Education Ltd operates a no-refund policy. For holiday camps only, a credit note may be issued if notice of non-attendance is given at least 72 hours before the camp start date. No credits will be given for wraparound sessions or late cancellations.

4. Liability and Duty of Care

Vara Sports & Education Ltd takes the safety and wellbeing of all children extremely seriously. All activities are risk assessed, and staff are trained to provide appropriate supervision at all times.

However, by making a booking, I acknowledge that:

• Children may occasionally experience minor bumps, scrapes, or injuries during normal play.
• Vara Sports & Education Ltd cannot accept liability for any injury, accident, loss, or damage that is not caused by the negligence of its staff or a breach of its statutory duty of care.
• Vara Sports & Education Ltd is not liable for incidents arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as pre-existing medical conditions not disclosed, or accidents inherent to normal childhood play.

This clause does not remove or limit Vara Sports & Education Ltd’s statutory duty of care, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

5. Behaviour and Exclusions

I understand that children are expected to follow the behaviour rules set by Vara Sports & Education Ltd. If a child’s behaviour is consistently unsafe or disruptive, Vara Sports & Education Ltd reserves the right to withdraw their place without refund.

6. Medical Treatment and First Aid

I consent to staff providing first aid to my child if necessary and to emergency medical treatment being sought if required. I understand that Vara Sports & Education Ltd cannot accept liability for outcomes where all reasonable steps have been taken.

7. Collection of Children

I agree to collect my child promptly at the end of each session. Persistent late collection may result in additional charges or withdrawal of the childcare place.
